• Lindy discovered Burngate about thirteen years ago when the centre first opened and was offered an experience stone carving day to try out using stone carving tools on local Purbeck stone provided by the centre. She found she had found her preferred creative medium and started to take courses at the centre.
• Lindy was taught by local stone masons affiliated with Burngate and it grew into a passion especially in using local Purbeck stone in which to create bespoke sculptures and relief carvings.
• Her previous background has been in education from nursery through to adulthood and she loves inviting people to come share her passion for carving and to have the delight in producing a piece of their own making to take home!
